The dip tube that comes with these is just a piece of soft silicon hose, it goes brown after the first fill. You could easily swap it out for anything else. I've got the same reg and it works fine, although a bit of keg lube on the seal would possibly help it from leaking the soda bulb empty...

These were the issues that I was talking about. A better reg won't fix the issue (I actually had a better reg), it's more to do with balancing. I had the same thing - fiddle around and you can get a decent pour, but then the pressure needed for that ends up causing foaming once you've left it...

I'm not sure that would help. The plastic flow restrictor is a round piece of plastic that has some holes down the side, which only cause turbulence. Although maybe you could remove it and use a tap with flow control? They're a standard fitting, so a flow control perlick would fit. I'll take...

Here's a pic of the old and new rollers side by side. New one on the left. You can see the flat spot on the top of the knurling on the old one on the right where it wasn't cut deep enough.

I got my new rollers in the mail and will be testing them out this weekend. But you can definitely see the knurling on the old rollers isn't as deep as these new ones.

FYI - already received a response to my email (on a Sunday) from Mashmaster - and they're more than happy to help out. That's great customer service.

Email sent! Never realised Mashmaster were in Brisbane! I hope mine is one of the dodgy batches, so I can finally get it working properly! (and then tell all those people I told not to buy a MM to maybe go out and get one now!)

I've got the same problem and don't believe it's the knurling as mine's been doing it since day one. I thought that's just how they were and have been running grain through twice. I might contact MM now that I know that some people have no issue with them.
