I'm thinking of shepherds delight next time, but yeah a bit too much roasted barley but its a good beer I'm happy.

As you'd expect from basically the Dr Smurto recipe this turned out fantastic. The Bohemian Pils added a really nice but of body. I had a 6 pack of JSGA last week to remember what it tastes like and this is better.

Head lasts to the last mouthful

This is amazing after 10 days in the bottle. Beautiful head and tasty with the tiniest hint if toasty notes coming through. Definitely not red but a fantastic beer yum yum

I didn't taste it going in but I'll taste it in the morning. I have 100g of Northdown which I'll take your advice and throw in 2-3 days before bottling. Should be an interesting experiment.

4 weeks in the bottle and its awesome. Everyone likes it. Head lasts forever and laces down the glass. See my other post for my trial variations on this, but this one is a keeper.

After 1 week in the bottle it's really good. Its a beairiful clear amber. Not as bitter as it was but this one will be kept in the bottle for at least a month before i try another

Had 3 glasses of the tallie. This could potentially be the best brew I've made. Gonna leave it for 4 weeks so I'm really excited about this. Report back soon.....
