Popularity, sure. The other side has ~25% the active members that this one has. The other side's also been around for a little over a year and this one's been around since forever. Luckily it holds good (old) content or people wouldn't bother. Those tides will turn in time

Members often link to here actually. Because like I said earlier, it's their old threads. Termination of members for linking to that forum is due to, from what I understand, an ego problem with the US owner. But I wasn't directly involved so I will only speculate.

Recruitment's a strong word. Most of the top (including #1 in post count) contributing members of this forum were banned without recourse and people deserve to know where they went.
