Great - thanks for confirming! Thought it would but was slightly worried the groove for the seal might not line up

Anyone know if this can be used with the KL kegmenters? https://www.kegland.com.au/products/4-inch-tri-clover-pressure-pack-with-floating-dip-tube-for-brewbuilt-unitank-fermenters?_pos=90&_sid=f198e9b1c&_ss=r

Just because one blocks doesn't mean the other would... You'd be unlucky to have 1 get blocked. For both to get blocked in the same ferment is incredibly unlikely.

I think that it's safer to have two options for excess CO2 to vent than just the one. If others disagree that's their prerogative.

I was responding to the suggestion of using a PRV instead of a spunding valve

Pressure fermenting AND relying only on a PRV sounds like a recipe for an explosion. Would only take some hop to block the PRV and you'd have a big mess

    Kegland 360 Core mini Regulator

Seems strange that it would come with a 0-60psi gauge, when serving pressure usually somewhere around 10psi

I've got 4 of them. Product has definitely been released

Completely agree. If you want genuine reviews, ask for them. Follow-up previous purchasers of specific products. Better to have no reviews than fakes.

I'm saying that it probably is useful as a boiler if you are distilling. Agree it's not a great boiler for a brewer - but KL aren't claiming that. I use a 29L kegmenter as a fermenter. If someone wanted to do big batches, this would seem a good option assuming you didn't want to dump trub or...

It does say 'boiler for distillation' in the link and on the website.

Hahaha. That's pretty funny (and smart).

Either would be fine. Easier to use large quantities of the brown than the black or roasted barley.

There's a Canberra Brewers meeting on Wednesday. You might be able to offload some there. Or I could for you. https://www.canberrabrewers.com.au/

    GUTEN

I’m familiar w the site. I’ve been contracting to ACCC for best part of 15 years. 1. None of the examples refer to a time period greater than 12 months. 2. The examples don’t mean anything in court or law. 3. All the ACL says is in this regard is that if it goes to court, the judge must take...

I can copy and paste too, but where does it say anything about the consumer guarantee for a $500 or $650 product and it applying for any specific time period?

    GUTEN

Weal - there are numerous comments by you in this thread about how good the Guten 2 year warranty is and that Guten's 2 year warranty was implemented due to the quality of the product. Australian Consumer Law does provide protections to consumers for faulty products but it is intentionally...

To be fair, I specifically mentioned KL and their product and they came into the thread to answer the question I posed. The links were a bit cheeky, but hardly a "shitty, spiteful act"....
