I use a 2 ring works great, sit the keggle on it so the ring of the keg sort of insulate the flames and i got 48lts today (in the shed) boiling in about 20 mins. I'll spend money on every other part of the brewery before i'll get another burner .. If you set it up right, you can go wrong.

I've had a few mice in my shed lately, i trap them and just when i think i've got them all, i see another couple. You'd think seeing their buddies with thier necks snapped would deter them but they just climb over the top and finish off the cheese! They are adaptive, tricky little bastards...

Give it more time, sometimes liquid yeast take a long time to get going especially if you didn't make a starter. I say give it to the 7 day mark, it should have done something by then.
