6 tap keezer - perlick 525 and gas manifold w collar

Hey mate, I'd love this if I lived in your lovely part of the world. Might be an idea to broaden your target audience. Have you considered Gumtree or ***?

    A minimalist kegging system?

They do look the goods. :D I've always wanted a Pluto Gun. However, I've had a few picnic taps over a few systems and $/pour quality, nothing beats it. If you do plan on upgrading, save the $$ to get some decent taps in the future. TBH - I've had better pours from my picnic taps than my...

    A minimalist kegging system?

Can repurpose a pair of needlenose pliers for the crimp. I'd probably get a good MM or Harris reg - buy once, cry once. And a Non Return Valve - you don't want to have to rebuild a regulator because it gets beer in it. Later on as you build a gas splitter for each keg and possibly a secondary...

    All in one kit?

Mine was the airport DFO one, so the stock turns over less frequently there.

Got mine for less than $8 a pop on special at woolies - linkypoo1 and linkypoo2

8 tap and 6 tap fonts for sale

The only thing Qlders and Victorians agree on is that the Australian Craft Board hands out Baggy Greens with Baggy Blues. Will the A*C*B lob a grenade and pick Renshaw in the side, again?

    Dummy needs advice on Kegerator

I'm a Brisvegan - and I live near hoppydays and the suburb that became a shopping centre. For brewing in Qld (I've lived in Tassie a couple of years too) it's a minimum of 2 fridges for kegging and fermenting, minimum. Ideally 3, one for conditioning as well. But I haven't got the third one...

    Woolies stock changing?

It was from Little Creatures. I will caveat it with our local Dans does not necessarily treat their stock well, but what I describe is a brewing fault, not usually a storage fault. I went home last night and tried it again, and sure enough it was there. SWMBO refused another LC beer after the...

    Kit And Extract Beer Spreadsheet

I would love it if it went partials as well, but that's being picky. It was great. Noticed on little thing. I wanted to calculate a 2min hop addition and it shows as 0 IBU from that addition if I do (on 150g of hops). I know that adequate isomerisation will occur before I cool below 85...

Little white Keg King inline regulators

Micromatic secondary reg is quite small and I keep mine inside the kegerator (S4). It's smaller than a manifold in length. It isn't huge like the big shiny ones that sit on the gas bottle, it's more like a plastic splitter than lowers pressure but has a gauge/controller.

    question for yeast cake pitchers

Have done it many times. And a number of methods. Straight onto cake, slurry cup and skimming krausen. With overpitching - if you don't mind the yeast having little effect, not a drama. The other issue is if the yeast cake gets so big that it sits at or above the tap level on the fermenter...

    Woolies stock changing?

I have side by sided a home brew of same style alongside its commercial equivalent in this instance. Could taste a touch of diacetyl (not necessarily a fault), some chlorophenol issue and a sizeable whack of acetyldehide in the commercial one that the home brew did not possess. One thing...

    Woolies stock changing?

Where are you getting hops from? It may be that by buying from a shop that specialises in both AG and kit, you'll be buying per gram a great deal cheaper. For instance, my LHBS is around $6-10 per 100g of hops, depending on the variety. If you're buying in those "steeping hops" packs, then...

    Woolies stock changing?

True. However, whether coopers, woolies or others, you never get enough yeast for the kit (pitching rates/yeast health being the joint #1 (sanitisation the other) importance in any type of brewing), so extra yeast/a proper sized packet of yeast is an automatic purchase (or save up multiple...

    Woolies stock changing?

Pretty decent. I'm normally an AG brewer, but went into a competition (no prize) - well really a challenge, for doing a woolies knk beer. (google home brand knk comp). Mine was a bit outside the remit of the comp but some really good beers were made. I was happy with my southern brown -...

    Homebrand lager

I personally did a Brown Ale with the woolies kit, some munich goo and a motley crue of different spec malts. Turned out very well, and was an eye opener for me regarding the benefits of processes we learn as AG brewers being reverted back to Kit brews with very good results. Do a google...

Little white Keg King inline regulators

I bought a Micromatic plastic secondary regulator for this purpose from Craftbrewer for my previous kegerator (before sale, moving and reacquiring). It allows you to feed high pressure (and high carb or quick carbonating beers) on the keg side, the regulator allows you put serving beers on the...
