    KegLand Questions and Answers

I recall hearing that you’re planning to have a pressure kit for the stainless fermenter. When are these planned to be available? What pressure rating are you aiming for?

    EOI Voyager Malt.

Thanks for organising WEAL, if the order hasn't gone in I'm keen on 1X Pale Schooner and 2X Veloria. (I'm assuming the 25% discount on the 4th bag is shared and I don't need to buy another?) This'll be my first bulk buy, I'm assuming it'll be pickup in Mulgrave?

Not a question, but some feedback. Yesterday I ordered a spare keg and some odds and ends. This morning it’s at my door. Seriously impressed at the turnaround.

Thanks KegLand for creating the "Wishlist". It's a nice step forward, although a step backwards for my wallet as I'll no longer forget to order new gadgets....

Interesting tip, I can't recall if I was logged in or not (probably not by the sound of it) but the cart emptied within the hour.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

@KegLand-com-au I think it's already been mentioned before, but what are the chances of getting a "Wish list" added to the site? I've tried adding stuff I want to basket but it eventually times out. I'm assuming it's due to automated stock controls etc. I can't speak for everyone, but it would...

    19L portable set up

I’ve seen a couple of options lately. First was an icebox made from insulated panel. Sturdy enough that the taps were mounted to the lid and made secure with latches and padlocks. Wasn’t completely water tight, but the ice lasted the entire trip. Second was just an Eski with the length of line...

    Original Gravity

Are you taking temperature into account? Brewers friend only calculates corrections for up to 71deg, but your numbers (if we assume 60-something and max) could show an increase. Maybe one of the other calculators will correct for 90+ degs?

Hydrostatic Test Locations for CO2 Cylinder - Melbourne

I recently went through this. G&G quoted $33 for a test no matter the size. Fill from memory was around $30 for 2.6kg. Slightly cheaper than buying a new tank, but the wait can be a problem. Upon dropping off I noticed the KK stamp on the bottle (no stickers) so my out of date bottle was...

    Variable wattage controller?

I’m using more or less the same thing. Works a treat! I have found that to start a boil I do need to connect my element direct to the power board as the internal resistance even turned to 100% is too high. It’ll get there, but just takes longer. Mine has been hacked by my friendly sparky to...

    Hi from Reza, Vic

G’day from another Reza local! So much info and experience on here. So much to learn! I’m doin the crab pot too, but with an electric element and a controller. Weather has been great for keeping the fermentation under control and I should be doing my first stout on Sunday with the aim or...
