Noted on all. Yes tang explained it perfectly, still drinkable. If the beer in second kegs turns out fine it will then become my VB (visitors beer).

And apparently I filed the keg not filled it. Straight under the this Saturday night file.

Hard to put an exact finger on what it is i don't exactly like about it. Still drinkable just not 100% sold on the flavor. Will try different hops next time and may give all extract brew a crack

Evening all, My wife purchased a 2nd hand keg system for me. I have since purchased a new keg for it and have enjoyed my first beer from this. I am just about to put down my second brew into the 2nd hand keg. I have just filled with water to test for leaks, well leaks is an understatement...

Krausen, just had to google that. I never knew the froth on top had a name. Do some yeasts give a bigger krausen then others? Love this education stuff.
