    Hop rhizomes wanted

Nice to see the hop swap still going. Damn things are weeds, never pay for a 'zome, people are digging them up all the time. I got rid of mine last year, anyone who knows me would know how much I bitch and moan about the shitty soil in Creswick, well, it defeated me with regards to hops. Need...

    Ballarat Grain Bulk Buy

Missed the boat on this. My other hobby of running, riding and swimming long distances really makes it hard to be beer focussed! Will get in and say G'day soon enough, great to hear there is more interest (and I assume understanding?) of what we weird AG's do.... Out of interest, does anyone...

looks good. My only suggestion is that you are going to want it to be taller. Do like the pulley idea, want to do that with mine (after I make mine taller!)

    I want to get elected!

This, on inland waters. Especially when about 10m behind the person I'm towing. The temptation to turn around and do they same to them is almost overwhelming. Its only because I consider myself a responsible boat owner that I don't. As for the reason for this thread, only skimmed through but...

Storing beer in kegs with no carb

2 options - Naturally carb the other kegs or just replace the air in the keg with a layer of CO2, 'topping' up every few days until you are ready to carb it. Beer should be fine.

    CO2

Did you pay for it? If so, contact the bloke you bought it from and try to get your money back. That probably won't work so you are probably best to contact the police if you want to try and get the $$ back (fat chance of that I'd say). I'd personally just take it into BOC here in Ballarat and...

    CO2

Owning a cylinder and paying for refills is overall the cheapest, just costs more upfront. That's why I've bought the keg king cylinder along with a few of the others. I've done the BOC thing and trying to run my cylinder out so I can get rid of it. Rental is about $15 per month and you also...

    Louisiane Brew House

Well got back today after a damn long red-eye flight. Got to the brewhouse, what a great place. The wife enjoyed it so much she was the one pushing to go back the following day. Tried all the beers and enjoyed them all. My out-and-out fave was the wit. A great beer to have a session on eating...
