    Andale Carlton Three-tap Font

For sale: Andale Carlton three-tap font with fatlock adaptors. I've never had it flooded, but I gather that with some work it is floodable. It needs a new seal or two, which are available from Andale easily and cheaply. Looking for $100 plus postage.

    Plastic Gas Post

Purchased a corny keg and discovered that the little gas-in post that is normally stainless is made of plastic. On initial inspection, it smells (and tastes) like soda syrup. Should I be worried about this?

For Sale, Craftbrewer Beer Filter Kit Mk Ii

Used only twice to gravity filter beer into bottles. Now that i'm kegging, I don't use it. It's the model seen here. It includes the beer filter base as seen here. Pickup from Canberra, or i'll post it at the buyers expense. A bargain at $70 (about half the retail price including base). Sam

    Ahb T-shirt

Congrats to P&C for a top effort organising the polo-shirt bulk buy. Now that the polo-shirt bulk buy is almost done and dusted, how many people would be interested in a t-shirt bulk buy? I'm thinking a t-shirt with a large AHB logo on the back, and a small one on the front.

    Connecting Filter To Outside Tap

I've got a Craftbrewer Beer Filter and I figure I could use this to filter water for brewing as well, with an appropriate filter. I have filtered water available in the kitchen, but frankly the lugging of filtered water in cubes from the kitchen to the garage is not an enjoyable component of my...

    Yeastie Beasties ♥ All-grain

I've got my first all-grain fermenting at the moment, and holy crap i've never seen such a huge krausen from US-05. So, do the yeastie-beasties prefer the all-grain goodness, or am I imagining it?

    Carbonator Cap

I'm looking for an easy way of running cleaning solution through my beer lines and taps. Having a keg filled with cleaning solution is one option, but this involves the cost of a keg, and the need to have a large keg sitting around. I was thinking about the Carbonator Cap that Ross sells, and...

    Moving On Up

Ok, so i'm currently doing extracts/partials with partial boils in a 6 litre pot (approx. 4-5 litre boil), and i'll definitely be moving to AG in the future. Currently my brews mostly look like 1.5kg liquid malt extract with 50-90g hop additions in the 4-5 litre boil, with another 1.5kg liquid...

    Krausen Before Pitching

Due to an inability to get a decent starter going from a Coopers Pale Ale yeast harvest, I ended up with 3 days between wort being prepared and the yeast being ready to pitch. Upon opening the fermenter to pitch the yeast this morning, i've discovered that there is a healthy krausen on the...
