I recently purchased some discontinued stock from coles(wheat beer-$2.20 a can) plus $2.68 for dextrose. It ended up costing me 0.18c per longneck!!!!!!!!

Thx for the replies guys.... about the temp being at 26 degrees- can't be helped, that's how warm it is in my laundry unfortunatley, and HOOPS- yes it smells absolutely disgusting- rotten egg X 10, pretty bad, but I will persevere as you suggested, and hope that time fixes these issues. Cheers

It is a Coopers Bavarian Lager and it is currently sitting at 26 degrees. Not sure what yeast it is....came with the can............

I have just put down a Bavarian Lager with 1kg of strawberries in syrup(boiled this for 15 mins)+ 1kg dextrose. It is now day 2 and it smells pretty rancid. I was wondering if this batch is a lost cause, or should I see it all the way through.Any insights would be great. Cheers

there were 2 kinds of wanders style.... Munich, and bitter...there was also a brewiser wheat beer for $3.50 which I also picked up........

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I went to Coles today, and they were selling "Wander" kits at $2.20 (going out of stock I think). So I bought the whole lot, which was about 8 cans. Any ideas as to what I could do with these bargains? My next project is to do a chilli beer, any hints...

Cheers guys guys thanks for all the tips. Joecast, the kit already comes with 2 cans already, so throwing an extra one might be out of the question. I might add some DME along with a little dextrose, this. I think I will try and be a little adventurous with this one..........

I was wondering if anyone had some ideas on making this stout a bit more potent. The package says it get's to about 4.5% , but I want to give it a bit of a kick. I am still relatively a beginner at this( about 12 brews so far).Would adding dextrose affect it's taste a great deal? any ideas...
