    "Failed" Brews

    My first batch. Sterilised the bottles using SO2. Didn't rinse the bottles properly. Rather strong after taste, I was determined, and after a couple of beers you could harldy taste anything. I finished off the batch as a lesson to myself about rinsing. Funninly enough never happened again. Tony

    Fresh Wort?

    Well, I might go and give it a go next time on looking at them. Bit of a newbie question but whats a nitrogen system, is that a keg running on nitrogen rather than Carbon? I was pretty lucky being able to convince the wife that I should go a keg in the first place. another gas tank might spin...

    Belgian Dubbel

    I might wait until winter before I try this one... it's too hard to control the temprature in the garage at the moment :) It will also give the bottles something to do they have been a bit lazy since the kegs came along. Tony
