I've lost a couple of cylinders recently and found out it was one of my kegs which mustn't be sealing properly on either the lid seal or gas post seal... I Lubricate posts each time, use genuine CMB disconnects and on the gas side, barbs and crimps. Could it be a keg? I always prefer barbs on...

Hi guys, I have approx. 90 750ml bottles given to me by my grandfather, who no longer has the energy to brew, and I would like to give them away to a fellow AHB'er. They are a mix of coopers sparkling, west end draught and west end export bottles. They are a bit dusty as they have been stored...

Are there any other scales you guys recommend? Mine went screwy causing me to add about 10g more bittering hops than i should have to a recipe recently... only noticed when i put the empty container back on the scale and it wasnt zeroed! :mad:

if i were to do it i would use something to fill the inside, then bog over that, then cover with a spray putty or filler primer before sanding and painting... that way you get an even smooth surface. need some photos though!

i use 4 cups of it to make dog biscuits and the rest goes to the neighbors chickens... i give her grain she gives me eggs! :D

Ordered a grainfather (with the new controller), sparge unit, blichmann thrumometer and a couple of other goodies yesterday, along with a few cheeky peak all grain kits... should give me a good starting idea of how the brew day goes before creating / modifying some recipes!
