    Cascase Kit, Yeast Didn't Fire

okay so I started with a gravity of 1050 and it's now steady at 1018, but when I open the fermenter and smell it, it kind of burns my nose. not sure if this is the "spice" in spicy ghost or if it is a sulphur smell?

    Flat As A Tack

I got a Pale Ale that is flat, bottled about 10 days ago when I opened a few cold ones it's flat, but has large bubbles sitting on top, then tried another one last night and it had a little carbonation. Guess it just needs more time.

The alcohol content of high-selling Australian beer Victoria Bitter will be cut slightly in a move that will save brewer Foster's up to $20 million a year in tax payments. How To Drink Coopers?

from brewhaus.com.au If you like drinking a beer that is very cloudy and tastes very strongly of yeast, shake the beer or roll it horizontally across the table a few times - just like those tossers who ask for their bottle of Coopers Pale Ale to be "rolled" before being poured. If, however you...

I put down a batch of Cascade Spicy Ghost and noticed almost 40 hours later the yeast was not working, so I waited a few more hours and still nothing. I chucked in a yeast I had laying around from a Coopers Pale Ale kit, now it's happily bubbling away two days later. anyone know if this will...

    Kegmate, Anyone Have One?

I wouldn't mind building my own because it'd be cheaper, but after showing the cook photos of other peoples home-made fridges, it was a defininte no to that. Kegmate might be do-able cause it fits in with the rest of the furniture apparantly and has wheels so I can put it in the spare bedroom.
