    Stainless Brewery For Sale

I bought 3 of the Bright beer tanks a while ago and they are excellent quality, you couldn't build them for that price. A great buy for anyone doing big batches. Cheers.

    Show us your brewrig

Cheers Guys. Thanks for the kind words Fents and Cocko. Nothing better than building a brewery for Fents and getting to do a brew with him and take a cube home!! If that's how it's going to be I might just give up my day job. MB: I definitely think I'm more comfortable behind the TIG torch...

    Drilling Stainless Steel

Definitely work hardened mate. Not much you can do now I have used a die grinder with a burring bit to grind out holes like this before. As Dylo said, slow and plenty of cutting fluid. Even wd40 works for me if I have nothing else.

    Ramp/soak pid controlled by rasbpi?

The problems I have run into is that most ramp soak controllers don't have all of the data available via rs485/modbus . You can easily read temp and setpoints and write the same but the ramp time data is not usually available.

    Heating Element Toasted My Brewery

if its tripping the RCD it could also be an earth fault. elements often do this as they can absorb moisture into their mineral insulation.

Hey Guys, We have had problems with the Chloramine content of our municipal water supply so we have been using water from a Spring at my folks place. Plenty of opportunities out there lot's of people have just become lazy or never really stepped out of their comfort zone to experience the rewards. I just bought a 1957 Holden FE...

    New Thermostats. Cheap! Compact!

Not a good idea, they look cheap they are cheap and they will melt. Not Australian Approved. Even the labels on the item are wrong, 15A on the front 220V, 2000w on the back?. It doesn't add up. Aussie voltage is 230v 2000/230 = 8.6A Spend the extra coin on a well made temp controller and...

Digital Flow Meters - Anyone Used Em?

I have a couple of these and after some testing have found them to be fairly inaccurate. Over 4 Liters they were up to ~500ml out which was worse if you varied the flow rate. I see them as useful for maybe adjusting cooling water flow through a chiller but for getting accurate volume some...

    Electricity/pump Box

Hey Mate, Should you build this in a toolbox? no.. Remember in the US their mains supply is often 110v, although still very dangerous it's not as lethal as 240v.. Electrical enclosure and controls come with an IP rating. This rating determines the water / dust ingress into them to maintain...
