Just how DO you get that juicy IPA taste and aroma?

I'm still confused. Why did you stop taking hydro samples? How are you exposing your beer to O2 by drawing it from the tap?

Just how DO you get that juicy IPA taste and aroma?

How were you taking your samples before? Your writing seems to imply you were exposing your beer to oxygen when doing so. Were you opening the lid for some reason?

In lieu of the innovator himself - I'm guessing he is under the impression that brewing to a higher OG and watering back down to target OG would make a better beer than one brewed to the target OG without watering down. ie wort at 1.06 watered down to 1.052 > wort at 1.052 without water addition.

KK - 'Fermentasaurus' conical PET fermenter

Yeah, the seal thing is a problem. At what pressure did it start to leak? The bottle is helpful for me. Plugging issue sorted with my workaround above, any residual crud in the throat area is just stuck to the sides - it doesn't come through when transferring to keg. I compare the experiences...

KK - 'Fermentasaurus' conical PET fermenter

For this reason I've started fermentation with the valve closed. If it's going to form a plug anyway, it doesn't matter. Then after 24hrs, simply open the valve; the plug will be gone right quick, and re-settle in the bottle. Works for me anyway.

    Kolsch brew

Consider also - on the whole "Kolsch" labelling thing. This abomination exists and it tastes like nothing more than fairy floss, they named it as such only for the alliteration. https://www.jamessquire.com.au/craft-beer/karni-kolsch/#

    DIY Kegmenter

^ my point exactly - and no longer needing a spunding valve would make a pressure fermenter very enticing for purchase.

    DIY Kegmenter

Automatic pressure release over 30PSI would be awesome as well. For many purposes it would eliminate the need for a spunding valve entirely.

Has mash ph been an improvement for you?

Can't know for sure without seeing what you entered as your Existing Water Profile. Also that looks like an older version, make sure to grab the latest which I believe is 1.18
