Getting rid of 3v 40l system

Hey folks, I've just made the switch to a braumeister due to space and time constraints. Was wanting to get a feel for what my system might sell for. I'm not looking for big $$$ but something to offset my outlay would help. Where would you advertise and what would you ask. I'm wanting to sell...

Cold Condition Bad For Goodness Of Beer?

Your diet shoud give you more than sufficient Vitamin B and I'm pretty sure beer is probably not the foodstuff of choice for fullfilling dietary requirements. Agreed though cold condioning will definately reduce the yeast in the beer but will most probably improve the taste and asthetic appeal.

2011 Esb Winter Warmer Homebrew Competition

Hi, just a quick question with the forms for entering. I assume that the entry No. section should be left blank. For you guys to fill in? The Group - I can see the groupings but there are no names, I would assume Strong Ales, Dark Strong Ales, Bocks and Belgian Strong Ales??? Are you after...

    Font Disassembly

agreed that it should screw out, I'd try something in the hole there thats long and strong. Ie tent pole (the one with a spike on the end) and use the length to make the rotation easy. That or a good big monkey wrench should do the trick! Dare say a pair of multigrips wouldn't be any good for...

Which Tap And/or Adaptor Do I Need?

Hi, I'm pleased your happy with the font. So there are 2 majoy suppliers of pub quality fonts in Australia Lancer Pacific and Andale. Most of the cheap fonts available are modelled on Andale sizing. Thus most homebrew stores will only carry these parts. As a starting point see below...

Get Out Of My Fermentation Fridge!

Good book isn't it! Just by reading it and getting smart on fermentation and yeast care my beers have got so much better. Can't stress enough the importance of hitting goal FG for taste especially in 4-6% beers!

Get Out Of My Fermentation Fridge!

my concern this time of year would be overnight temperature dropping below say 10 degrees and your yeast then becoming inactive and attenuating hence leaving your beer at a slightly clauing 1015. Saf 05/ Wyeast 1056 are both incredible clean fermenting yeasts so flavour change wouldn't be...
