Relay to control hot water vessel

Ok. Cheers. During my search for relays I stumbled across ebay pages which have units similar to the one I already have on the wall. Be a lot easier to replace what I have with something similar as I wont have to run the wires from retic box to relay. Thanks for your responses guys.

Relay to control hot water vessel

Hi, I currently have an old digital timer on my outside wall which I use to turn on the electric booster for my Solar Hot Water System (SHWS). Problem is that the only thing that functions on it is the manual over ride switch so I can basically only turn the element on and off. What I wish to...

    PID question.

OK, so today I bought myself an Arduino Uno. I went for this instead of the Auberins because I want it to do quit a bit of thinking and tasks. It will have 3 temp sensors (HLT, MLT and HX). I figure I will have many more questions to come in regard to programing and hardware. So now the fun begins.

    PID question.

I am looking for a unit which I can programme to do step mashing, stepping up automatically. I want to wake up with water in system already at strike temperature, add malts then hit the ok button and go through a programed step mash schedule. Also alerts me when the process is finished and...

Is James Squire Ipa A Good Representation Of The Style

IPA was brewed in UK and shipped to India for the British Empie so was made higher in alc% and higher hop bitterness to act as a preservitive (refridgeration did not exist). I really don't know how a traditional IPA should taste but I imagine bitter and good malt as the OG would be higher. I...

    Shocking Drivers (perth)

Problem is more people on the roads today so the number of idiots increases. Also there are more distractions such as mobile phones and pretty ladies out there. Really there is no excuses for stupidity. Also Perth has the worst road planning I have ever come across around the globe. I call Perth...

Only advice I can give is bowls first then the homebrew. Unless you have a massive curve ball then homebrew first and bowls. :icon_cheers:

How Far Can A Perth Pub Go To Stop You From Having A Beer

Sure am. Why not get large prints of your fav's and pin em up on your bedroom wall. Or is that what young tennage kids do until old enough to transfer them to the body? How do you appreciate a tattoo you get on your back or other places you can not see unless you have a mirror in front and...

How Far Can A Perth Pub Go To Stop You From Having A Beer

You got to ask yourself why do people get ink in the first place. For attention? Buggered if I would get ink. People with ink seem to attract trouble? Show offs? I dunno. They are the first thoughts that come to my mind and maybe the pub owner.

My Mates Want To Pay For Me To Make Beer For Them

I don't make the law, but if its family and friends then you should be ok if they pay for the ingredients. Put some beer nuts on the table and if they give you extra $$ it was to pay for the nuts. It's not a crime to accept a donation. But to intentionaly sell alcohol for a profit without the...

    Rims Or Herms

Hey peoples can you please list the breweries around the world which use either of these systems. Can you buy these professional systems premade for a micro brewery application? I ask so I can have a look at their websites to see their systems so I may scale one down. Cheers.

    Feral Hop Hog...available In Bottles

I pickedup a boar pack last weekend. Im not a hop head but I do enjoy a good IPA. I like the malt presence unlike LCPA this actually has a malt flavour and body to it. Puts me in the mood to brew an English IPA.
