All Grain - is it substantially better beer?

Honestly, it comes down to what you enjoy doing. I like making all grain beers from scratch because, well I just do. Just like I like making curry pastes from scratch. I've had some cracker results and a few not so great. it's more about the journey rather than the destination. I have a good...

    Fermentation Stalled At 1022

It's only a ludicrous rant if you have no common sense. Actually, what sort of brewiing background would you happen to have, being a font of all knowledge on brewing? Stuff all by the sound of it.

    Fermentation Stalled At 1022

For those that argue that homebrewers can not emulate commercial brewers in their practices...what a load of crap! Brewing is brewing however you look at it. It's just the scale that differs. One of the most important things to ensure is that you protect your brew from any external infection...

    James Squire Style Kits?

It consists of Wal's Wheat (1.7kg), 1kg Brew Booster, 150g Vienna grain steeped in hot water for 20 minutes (don't add the grain to the fermenter, just the water that it was steeping in) and 12g Amarillo hops (infused in boiling water for 10 minutes). Enjoy!
