    Brewing Calculator Android App

The app now includes a simple priming sugar calculator that uses litres/grams, but will soon support gallons/ounces. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

    Brewing Calculator Android App

I'm looking for some feedback on an Android app I've made for homebrewers. It combines SG to Brix conversion, ABV, hydrometer temperature adjustment, apparent attenuation and calories calculations all into a single screen. It's only $1 and updates are free once you download it. Any feedback...

    Priming in a keg

I really do want to invest in a cylinder, trying to save all our spare cash to move interstate so I can't bring myself to fork out that much money for one and a regulator, for the moment at least. Thanks for the info anyway folks, much appreciated.

    Priming in a keg

I should have mention to start with that I only have a party tap and mini 16g gas cartridge regulator... Not quite big enough to carb with lol

    Priming in a keg

Grott would you dissolve the drops in some water first, or just transfer the beer straight onto them in the keg?

    Priming in a keg

Hey again folks. I am about to enter the world of kegging and I am just wondering how priming sugar is added. Is it best to boil the sugar with a bit of water first, or can I just dump the sugar into the keg and transfer the beer on top of it? Cheers!

Priming in a keg... how long should it take?

Thanks for the replies. Main reason I am doing it this way is I having only ever bottled my beer, but I now have a 9.5L party keg and tap that uses the little 16g CO2 bottles and I don't plan on getting a big CO2 tank just yet.

Priming in a keg... how long should it take?

Just curious more than anything as I bottle all my beers, but when you bulk prime a beer in the keg how long does it generally take to carbonate? My instinct tells me it would be roughly the same time as priming in bottles would take for the same volume of beer, is this accurate?

    Soy Sauce Aroma

Cheers Mark, I have read about autolysis and thought that might be it. I will just have to be more patient lol I live in Alice Springs and even using a plate chiller and hose water the wort comes out about 34C!

    Soy Sauce Aroma

Hi folks, I'm Kane, first time poster on AHB. I've been homebrewing for almost 2 years now, started 2 Coopers kits then jumped straight into small batch all-grain BIAB. My last couple of batches have been darker style beers (a Wee Heavy that ended up lower in ABV than desired, and a Smoked...
