    Mill Motors

Cheers Contrarian, I'll double check but I think it's something else. I should just buy the extra knob and try it with all the switches in place.

    Mill Motors

I finally got organized enough to hook up my motor, controler etc and have encountered a problem. Both the on/off switch and the speed controler do nothing, I pug it in and the mill turns. Can't switch it off or control the speed, the on/off switch does turn a on board led on and off but the...

    Mill Motors

Cheers contrarian, I was pretty sure it would work just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. I tested it today with really good results, the alignment seems perfect. Now just waiting for the ebay bits to complete the build. Can't wait.

    Mill Motors

I'm sure I read somewhere in this thread about testing the motor with a car battery charger, can't seem to find it now. Is it safe to just connect the motor wires to the charger terminals? Just want to see it turn and test the alignment. Cheers.

    Mill Motors

Can't help out with the wiring but will definitely be keen on getting a reverse switch set up. From my experience using a drill that jammed often I found it much easier to swap collection buckets and run the drill in reverse causing all the malt to run through unmilled than to take off the...

    Mill Motors

Wow, I was beginning to wonder if this thread had an end  . Big thanks to the OP and everyone else for furthering the discussion, looks like a great product. As I read through all the posts I could't find anyone using the same mill as me, and as it's on the bigger end of the spectrum...

    200W MILL MOTOR, big enough

I'm the proud owner of a Monster mill MM-3 PRO, 3x 2 inch rollers. Up until this point I been struggling along with my drill but the grain group buy fast approaching and I'd like a better solution in place to deal with the mass of grain coming. Very interested in the motor and speed controller...
