    Suggestions on a Red IPA

Thanks for your suggestions... Yeah looked through that thread, didn't seem to continue and started a new one as I don't All Grain yet and need an extract recipe. I'll skip the 60min Magnum, should end up high 50s for IBU. In regards to SRM what's the optimum level for a red IPA?

I've posted this elsewhere as well and thought I might as well try here as well. I wonder if you can assist with a Red IPA extract that I'm trying to put down. The recipe I created in Brewers Friend is: Original Gravity: 1.069 Final Gravity: 1.013 ABV (standard): 7.33% IBU (tinseth): 67.37...

IPA with Cascade, Centennial & Mosaic

I have previously made an IPA using a can of Thomas Cooper’s IPA and loaded it up with a total of 80g each of Cascade, Centennial & Mosaic hops. It turned into a great beer, however I want to try and make an IPA with a bit less malt character. I've altered the recipe according to a few different...

    A Schwarzbier attempt

Quick update on the final product, ended up with OG 1.044 and FG of 1.012 and was bottled about 9 weeks ago. Had a sampler yesterday and even though it still needs more time in the bottle it still tastes close to the mark.

    A Schwarzbier attempt

Thanks for the feedback guys! I did indeed put the above recipe down the other day, the only change was that I also added some Tettnanger hops (on top of the Hallertauer) and went with Bohemian Lager M84 yeast as the LHBS didn't have the S-189 yeast. It's bubbling nicely at about 14.5 deg at...

Apple and Pear Cider FG - When to bottle?

Nope, not 120.... just 20L. Cool, will leave it alone for now (feel like I need to get a second fermenter, this is taking valuable beer making time!)
