    Aussie Ipa

    If you wanted to make an Australian version of an IPA what would be the ingredients? I was thinking of using POR and Galaxy hops, Coopers yeast or WLP Burton yeast (for the esters), Mainly base malt with a low percentage of low crystal. Some sugar to make it dry or low mash temp? Any thoughts?

    500th Mashed Beer

    I just bottled a barley wine (my first). When I was putting in the details I realised it was my 500th mashed beer (22L approx each). I still have 6 in fermenters so I have brewed 506 mash beers, 34 kits and bits, for a total 540 since Jan 1997. Makes me happy anyway.
