WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

Agree, they're all going in the bin. Probably the last thing someone new to kegging needs. Cornelius Ball lock posts are probably OK, 4 pair. Maybe one or two a bit wonky. Will cut your spear grommets if used on Firestone kegs though.

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

I cant in conscience sell or give away the gas disconnects, they're going in the bin. LHBS said there was a bad batch or something. The liquid disconnects are black cheapies, they stick a bit but have worked ok. I'l give all 3 to you. Send me a PM.

    Brew pot from keg

Just in case you hadn't thought of it another cheap option is a thick ally stockpot. easy to drill with Bunnings holesaws and a better base to height ratio. I bought both mine from these guys, heres a 50L at $109 suitable for single batches...

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

Update! Many thanks to Weizenbonk for the free pair of posts. I purchased the remaining 3 sets required from Adventures in Homebrewing in the US. Postage was expensive but I picked up a couple other bits and the overall savings paid for the postage. Postage took 2 days to get from the US to...

    WTB: LPG jet burner

I have the KK burner, double batches no problem. Even on low flame I get high boil off % with my 80 L Stock Pot. Looks like its been updated compared to mine from 2013: https://www.keg-king.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/419/s/high-pressure-lpg-burner-with-stand-and-regulator/category/14/ Mine...

    Hot break removal

If your concerned about removing more break material then consider letting the wert stand in a spare fermenter for say 6-8 hours before racking into another fermenter and pitching yeast, leaving hot and cold break behind as trub. Another variation on the above is the British 'dropping' system...

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

Once you have lost a couple bottles of gas to leaky KK grey plastic gas disconnects you will be replacing them. My posts are used too and a little beaten and perhaps part of the problem so I'm replacing them too. I'm going this far may as well go pin lock route so the posts are easier to tell...

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

I guess the US ones, female thread in post (meaning male thread on keg) and std ball lock posts were just swapped on when I got them.

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

I've decided to convert my ball lock kegs back to pin locks (bought as converted pin locks). I've searched online and called Kegland and KK but no luck. Considering how many pin locks are converted to ball locks there's got to be someone with a box full of the things willing to sell some.

    Tinseth hop calculations and whirlpool

However, x1000 what mark said. Keep notes esp as you drink it. Even just uncertainties and queries??? I had a query I was able to track back through about 3 or 4 brews (not consecutive) and get a handle on a possible issue/solution. Through my notes, starters, brewday, ferm, drinking notes...

    Tinseth hop calculations and whirlpool

As long as your not cooling it during the steep and the wert is above 80 deg, yes add the extra 10 minutes. Although it makes bugger all difference 60 to 70 minutes.
