I have a 2 tap system with 2 Kegs and i'm forever running out. Its better to have 3 or 4 kegs so that you can swap them out quickly. I've convinced the missus of this also... haha

Hi Guys, Just wondering what you all do with the Kit yeasts left over? I've been brewing off and on for a few years, but lately fully gotten into it. Buying US-05 etc... I mainly use Coopers Cans, and i've now got about 6 or 7 coopers packets of yeast just spare. What do you guys do with...

    Should I be worried?

So i did a Brew last night. All went well, everything sanitized. Finished up and pitched my yeast. Then Stupid me dropped the empty pack of US-05 right on top of the wort. Immediately I grabbed it, and tried not to touch the wort myself. However, it was pretty much impossible. Question is...

    Kit And Extract Beer Spreadsheet

Hi Guys, Love the spreadsheet, Just a quick question. I think i Know the answer from searching this thread, but just want to double check. If my Hop boil is less than 8 litres, I should use the HCF but if its 8 litres or more, I should leave it as NO. Correct?

    Kegging Setups

4mm ID isn't too hard, just heat it up with some boiled water, and put some pliers in side it to widen it a bit. It goes on pretty easy after that.

Coopers IPA / Australian Pale Ale

Hi Guys, I'm thinking about making an IPA for my next batch. However, I have a spare Australia Pale Ale tin at home. I'm wondering if I can get away with using the Pale Ale tin and a can of Coopers LME Amber and bump the Hop boil right up. Do you think that would get me to a similar style IPA...

    Keg King kegerator series 4

Question on Foaming? I've got 2 kegs in my Series 4. I've kept the beer lines at the same length they came with. I've got a Pale Ale in one keg and a Pilsner in the other. Running on 10psi, the Pale Ale pours almost perfect. Slightly more foam than i'd like, but nothing I can't handle. The...

    Pitching Dry Yeasts

I pitch using Dry Yeast, although want to try re-hydrating and getting into starters at some stage. I've got a question slightly OT Every batch I do, most of the recipes stated the FG should finish around 1.008 to 1.012. To date, I've never had a batch finish within that range. The closest I've...
