    Belgrave Brewer's Hops c/o Yob

Thought I'd start a thread rather then getting lost in Hop Dealz. Thanks Belgrave and Yob for the chance. Below is the recipe I brewed with the Cluster. There was only 50g. Opened the package and the smell reminded me of my youth for some reason. TYPE: All Grain, BIAB, No Chill Recipe...

    MOA Cherry Sour

Had a bottle of that last night at Hemingways. Really nice drop. I have made 3 kettle sours so far - one became a Gose. Time for another step? What the how do I do this? Do I need a barrel? Not looking for a clone but merely the method behind it all...

    Benny's Big Red Rye

This beer was inspired by Bridgeport Kingpin. A 7.5% 65 IBU rye beer. They use Liberty hops which are described as spicy. This certainly compliments the rye. Substitutes include Crystal, Mt. Hood, Santium and more. I have used all of these with good results. I generally use 15% to 16% rye in...

    Sticklebract

What a hop. Drinking a IPL/ Hoppy Lager whatever. 23 litre batch, bittered with Dana and 50g of Perle and 50g Sticklebract at flameout. I was wondering why this beer was so dank and piney and I checked the recipe. Glorious. I will have to dump a heap in an IPA soon.

    Marynka

Used late it has amazing licorice aromas and flavours. Martin suggested it for a Julebryg but I used it in a porter. Stunning.

    Rosella Saison

I'll be making one of these as soon as I get some more grain. Simple grain bill, bittering hops. When to add the rosella? Should I throw the calyxs in like a dry hop? You may say rack onto fruit but I don't have the desire to use a secondary vessel.

Fourth a rye IPA - WOW!!! both the last 2 1kg in a 21 litre brew, about 8%. Love it. The Rye IPA was not late hopped enough but there is not enough coming through. Needs...

    Favourite Saison Yeast?

Hi all, the weather is hot and I love a good saison. What is your favourite yeast and why? I have used Belle Saison and quite like it, although it can pull your face off when brewed too warm - good but takes some maturing. Yeast Bay Saison Blend - good stuff too, but not dry enough for me. Two...

    Rye and increased efficiency

Two recent brews with Rye have come out at 77% efficiency, a few points higher than my usual. Is this Rye related or just random gains? Smells great too when mashing.

    WLP566 Belgian Saison II Yeast

I bought a beer. I drank it. My taste buds went wild. I emailed the brewery to compliment then and ask what the yeast was. It is used in a new world style Saison/ IPA hybrid thing. Beer blew my face off. Anyone have any experience, dos/ do nots with this yeast?
