    I have had my 1st attempt at replicating a White Rabbit dark Ale using WLP022....Tasting great out of keg after 1 week however finish is very very dry. attached is recipe from Beer Smith....any suggestions on Yeast substitute for next my try appreciated,,,cheers BB1 Postman's Dark Rabbit...

    I use brewmate and have followed grain bill on recipe to achieve OG of 1050 and have only reached 1030. Wanting to ask where I have gone wrong...? I use a 29 L pot....get 25L water up to 70 deg, turn heat off and place bag in and mix grains well. Place lid onto pot and wrap in blankets and sit...

    Great advice all round thanks heaps....I will look at brewmaster today.....on the Big W 19L pot.....maybe a dumbass questiosn....where do you buy and what other things do you need to get a tap set up on the pot?

    Thanks Great Head....in looking at others I am guessing I am after IBU of 28% or thereabouts. No idea on what alpha is or how to work it out.... not wanting too much bitterness....cheers bb1
