I have no interest in discussing “some people”. My post should sound more like a question (or two). Is “out there” a software aimed to assist homebrew comps? Is there a practice of using such software in NSW? I can’t see how these two questions relate to whatever results I’m gonna have.

That's IF scoresheets are readable at all, as after any comp there is 50% chance I would spend half an hour trying to decipher the scribbles and then give up. Cheers to the other 50% though!

As I'm new to this, how does the pick-up work? Is it from Penrith, or some location closer to "Sydney core"?

In the photo, the bottle visible upside down seems very empty to me, so I'm buying that other bottles are empty, too. Another thing is that probably a good half of styles require rebrewing - anything xPA and wheat, at least. If those were not rebrewed, they might have lost points for being not...

A quick woo-hoo post for my Belgian Pale Ale which took 2nd place. The 5th or 6th attempt at the style over the course of the last 2 years, which I finally got presumably right.
