SHould I buy a 100L Pilot Brewery From China?

Sure are. Just places a deposit on 1500L Brewhouse with 30HL fermenters. Sorry to hear about your shipping drama. We went FOB for ours and used a logistics company from QLD. We have two 40' containers delivered for just over double that. Look forward to hearing about the beers you're making...

SHould I buy a 100L Pilot Brewery From China?

Thought I'd revive this post - I noticed a mention of my brewery down on Phillip Island, we do have the Spark kit, but using a local supplier isn't always required. China has improved the quality overall, premier stainless, DME and Spark all have their tanks manufactured in China. Premier still...

    Name the bar

Cheers mate, glad you like our red rye (if that's what you had) We've had a bit of Mr.Banks on at our bar, we have his Oatmeal Stout on at the moment, he's a one man show working his arse off in Seaford. I recommend his Brown Ale, sells like hot cakes and a pretty good drop. I won't go a plug...

    Brisbane Water for brewing

Getting know water has helped my brewing so much. learning about water enabled me to troubleshoot problems with my brewing where before I only looked at obvious symptoms. ie. mash temp, infection, sanitation etc. On a side note, who's measuring Ph throughout their brewing process? Mash ph Boil...

hey all, using the grainfather this morning and my wort is not clearing up at all, been about 45 mins now, I'm thinking im not getting much flow through the grain bed as the overflow pipe is in full swing. Anyone else had this issue? I'm thinking it has something to do with my crush size, maybe...

    Stainless hop spider

From what I can tell, the micron size of the mangrove jack or bio diesel is larger. I have the keg king one and don't use it, it's too fine in my opinion and doesn't drain well enough. I wasn't happy with the extraction of hop flavour/bittering

convert beer filter to charcoal water filter

hey all... I have a filter for beer, the normal housing you see for sale. I never filter my beer, I just don't need to; can you change the filter and convert to a charcoal water filter? Or should I sell and buy a purpose built unit?

    Keep getting acetaldehyde when kegging...

Change the yeast, you never know. I don't like US-05 anymore, I changed up to liquid yeast and I noticed a huge difference in the quality of my beer. I've had troubles with US-05 in the past, it's probably down to my brewing practices, but it can't hurt trying. I understand US-05 is perfectly...

I agree, and I have noticed some movement in the walls of the unit where I have lifted it from this point. It's not designed to be used as a handle so I don't recommend.

Dedicated Grainfather Guide, Problems and Solutions Thread

Had a great brew on the grainfather... made a big mistake, though. I picked up the unit when I was cleaning and had about 20L of water in it, instead of using tyhe pump to drain it I picked it up. Dropped it because the insert for the basket popped out and that was what I was using to grip, I...
