I know its normal practice to have the kegs inside a fridge and taps on the outside.
But has anyone ever used a temprite system?
We use one if we have a party and buy a keg of beer.
Thus far I have been filling mine to the bottom of Mr Fourexs' chest. Can I put more in there? I have been worried about bottle bombs, but now I understand its more about keeping everything clean instead of head space.
I really like pear cider, and would like to make some for myself, but I can't find pear juice anywhere!
Should I just make my own and risk and wild yeasts, or is there a commerical one out there that I just haven't found?
I have two tins of Morgans Old here, planning to make one of them up over the weekend.
Could I add cocoa/chocolate, etc to it to make a chocolate type beer? Or is it better with a stout?
Anything else I need to add?
Went into town today and got all sorts if interesting things from my LHBS!
I was given a couple of tins of homebrand Draught.
Any suggestions on how to jazz it up? I am not afraid to experiment.
Hubby likes Stouts, TEDs, Mexican or Super Dry types of beers.
