    Sorry Dravid just got back from the big smoke. Just ordinary rolled oats from the cereal section of the supermarket. I just use the black and gold brand. And add them for the entire mash. cheers Redgums

    Mckenry Is this a Morgans kit which you were using ? If it was then adding malt to these kits makes them cloying and sweet. Combine that with the dry hopped Hersbruck hops and here in lies your problem. I would give it another couple of weeks and the choc mint should disappear...... hopefully...
