Sorry but we have had some issues with the results this year. I don't think we will be able to publish tonight until we work out what has happened. I know this is disappointing but we need to make sure everything is accurate. Hopefully we will be sorted by tomorrow night.

If you wash the yeast this wont happen. When the yeast has been washed it stores easily and doesn't burst out of the container when you open it.

Yes I boil it first to sanitise and remove as much oxygen from the water as possible. Let it cool before putting it in the bottle as the bottle will shrink if you put boiling water in it.

I put the hops in the bottle then fill with HOT water. The hot water rises when the valve is opened and the hops mix through the fermenter.

My original one works fine. I have built a new system and put it in the new system. I want one for my old system so that I have the option of single or double batches using the same controller. The probe I now have in the old system is the original one from Mathos Controller and I can't get it...

Sorry, but that link you supplied is not the correct part. I have had problems wiring my old temp probe to a jack plug and getting a reading on the Brauduino. I am looking for one that is pre-wired to a jack plug like the original in the Brauduino kit.

Do not put HOT water in the fermentasaurus, it will shrink! I put 60-65 degree water in mine and it started to shrink. They aren't joking when they say MAX 55 degrees.

A heat belt lying in the bottom of the fridge will do the trick. I have never put my heat belt on a fermenter as it will not give an even heat. Heating the air around the fermenter will slowly raise the temperature without hot spots.
