EOI 4x People for Siebel Sensory Training Kit

Oh, the packs can also spike a lot of beer, most of which will be thrown out - we should aim to get as many people as possible. Finally, as mentioned, it's usual to get a very light base beer (e.g Tooheys extra dry) so that people can pick out the flavours - you don't want to be confusing them...

EOI 4x People for Siebel Sensory Training Kit

Count me in, always good to brush up. They don't keep well (rather some of them do, some don't) - you should use them within 6 months. It would take several sessions to get through them all, so some dedication is required. Also, having done this twice previously, some of them are truely...

    Fricken lasers on their heads

Update: nothing. No activity since I put that new trap in (2 nights). Probably weather related, or they were spooked by the traps setting off last time. I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I have a nice welcoming ramp up to the bucket and have peanut butter smeared around the bottle. They...

    Fricken lasers on their heads

Oh, and I had second thoughts about letting the cat in there with the traps - overall much happier to be rid of them!

    Fricken lasers on their heads

This morning the trap was on the ground and had been set off. No rat. All the peanut butter had been eaten off this and two of the other traps - which were still set. So I have to say those traps were a complete waste of (not much) money. There was also some additional damage to the rim of...

    Fricken lasers on their heads

So: trap on top. The traps were in there last night, and two had been set off, but no catch. I've also allowed access to the cat - he previously wasn't able to get in there at night. Slightly worried he might get caught in the traps so they're now all on top of buckets.

Update: pic says it all. Little f$*ker didn't make it through the bucket with the tile on top - but he might next time.

    Fricken lasers on their heads

So much info here - Thanks all. I've gotten some of those 60L Willow bins, I'll start with them. Can't immediately replace all of those buckets, so I've placed some floor tiles on top of them so the rats (I'm convinced) can't get purchase on the rims with their teeth. I'm hoping they won't be...

    Fricken lasers on their heads

Re cats: we have one. He's snoozing here on the couch beside me. He also has a reputation for having a "what do you want me to do about it?" expression as mice frolic in front of him. Given how well tooled-up these rodents are, I'd be more afraid that if I put him in with them, I'd find him...

    Fricken lasers on their heads

i recently moved house, coming from somewhere that had no issues with rodents. I quickly discovered we had mice in the new house and had to do a bit of a cleanup a few times after they chewed their way though grain bags. Most of my grain is stored in those Bunnings buckets (pictured) - air...

    Group Brew by Correspondence

Both of these are slightly up in the air at the moment - I'll have to wait a little longer to see how they work out.... On a good note, I tried another bottle the other day and it was well carbonated (phew)! Needs some age though....

    Group Brew by Correspondence

Bit of an issue - took a bottle out to sample last Saturday, and it hadn't carbed up :| I'm pretty confident in my bottling/priming process (maybe paranoid is a better word), so I doubt it's that. I'm always especially careful to mix in the sugar solution very thoroughly. I see from my notes I...
