No, nothing happened, I'm looking into another STC-1000 for my HLT and I was going to make a thermowell and insert the above probe into it..

I brewed this on Sunday, insert big happy smile, I hit the right temps, 76% efficiency, wort as clear as bell and smelt great, lets see if Mr. fermenter likes it as well..will check back in 2 weeks :D
