    currently coming up to boil and looking at OG post boil 1.068-70 mash was high at 68.4c over shoot recipe called for 67.5 planned on using S-04 , calcs show based on 75% an FG of 1.016-17 will this finish to high and be cloying? cheers

    IBU calculation from whirlpool

    planning to added about 150g at flame for a hop stand of about 20min before starting to chill how are you guys calculating the IBU for this addition? surely its not the same as a 20min boil addition cheers

    Some quick help needed please.

    I've ended up with 28l of wort before boil at 1.045, basically I'm 1.5l to much and should be at 1.050 before boil. Boil just started and plan was 90min, should boil for 120 instead?

    BRY-97 and sulphur smell

    first time using BRY-97 and I'm getting decent amount of sulphur smell from it its been fermenting near on 2weeks now and seems to be all done at 17-18c should I just crash chill this now or do I need to wait till the sulphur disapears first?

    mash to high for apa, what now?

    currently still fermenting away I brew a simple smash APA using golden promise and cascade hops yeast i used BRY-97 i mashed at 69 by accident and now stressing it will be sweet? could i add some dex now while stilling fermenting? will this lower fg and dry it out? cheers
