Thanks for all the advice guys, will be starting the build after we finish moving, so will be a month or so yet, but I will keep everyone updated once I start,

I was just thinking more for being able to weld a burner under the boiler and having it on heavy duty castor wheels to be able to wheel it out of the shed while brewing, I will have those mecanno shelves around for storing fermenters/kegs and other bits and pieces on though.
I'm still not...
I would rather get the steel and weld it up than the meccano shelving, if using 50mm shs, would 2mm suffice, or maybe 3mm, though I think 3mm may be overkill.

Ok so this has probably been done before but I can't seem to find it.
I'm about to move into my first home and its time to set up the brew gear properly and thought I would ask the question before I go out and buy steel that is overkill for the job. If I were to use 25mm angle steel, what...
I don't mean to hijack thread and this has probably been asked a thousand times, but if using 25mm SHS, what thickness would be suitable.

Hi,
I finally got around to setting up my keezer since i got back from the states only to have one if the taps shoot starsan all over me where the tap joins the shank. Just wondering if anyone knows where to pick up the o-rings that sit inside the tap.

Hi all just wondering if anyone has had experience with a boc regulator part number 801325, just wondering whether it is worth it because I can pick one up cheaper than a tesuco one.
Cheers,
Hopie
Well seeing as how we are talking about the 545 versions and not the 307's then you may stand corrected because the 307's aren't forward sealing like the ones batz has already purchased.
Hopie
As far as I know, and I have searched a lot there is currently no stainless version, and from a forum on America they don't seem to think it will be worth perlick making a stainless version though I think it would be good,

Haha sorry just had to reply and have a laugh at the last bit of this post. just wait until you start getting lectures from SWMBO about how home brewing was meant to save money but all you seem to do is spend it on more brewing gear.

Hopie
Hi, didn't want to start a new thread but I'm going to make an immersion chiller and am curious as to what a good price per metre for the copper is? Don't want to buy the first bit I see thinking its a good price if there's a secret place people get their copper from.
Cheers,
Hopie
Thanks TB, ill mostly be doing singles once I've bought the gear anyway so think a 3 ring will suit me fine, plus I got a voucher for bcf for chrissy, so the three ring from there will most likely be my first purchase.
Cheers,
Hopie
Ok so just a quick calc, by the time I've bought a 3 ring, med pressure reg and an immersion heater aswell, I may aswell just buy a spiral burner.
Cheers,
Hopie
So jyo do you think if at the very most I'm going to do double batches then a three ring burner is fine and I shouldnt bother working out for something like the Italian spiral from beer belly?
Cheers,
Hopie
