Yep still fermenting in kegs, I found two 23L rheem kegs and now use these as fermenters. I also use a spunding valve and ferment under pressure (and partially carbonate towards the end) transfer to serving keg under pressure so its never open to the air.

Cheer guys, there looks to be a Co-op on central coast i'll hit them up and see if they'll oblige otherwise Da-ice looks like it would be a goer also.

Drill it and use a weldless ball lock valve, that way you can transfer boiling liquid (i.e. for no chill into cubes) if need be.

It looks identical to the one i'm currently using. Works fine, though only gripe is that the gauge and valve are only for 15psi/100Kpa, think CB where selling one with a 30psi gauge which would be more useful when building up pressure at the end to carbonate.

New JG fittings all round, and swapped out the cheap liquid disconnects for the better ones, Problem Solved. Must have been a leak there somewhere, latest transfer was completely smooth.
