I've found that if your hydrometer sample tingles on your tongue (i.e. CO2 still dissolved in solution), then it is still fermenting. That said, I usually wait 2 weeks before I bottle as it gives a bit of time for most of the yeast to drop to the bottom while still leaving plenty in solution...

I'm sure it'll be great. I chickened out and did a 10l Barleywine BIAB Style. Maybe the next one I do will be in the Braumeister, if this recipe turns out o.k.

On the 50L Braumeister, there are two elements. One inside the base of the maltpipe and one between the maltpipe and the outside wall. The temperature sensor is inside the base of the maltpipe, if I remember correctly.

I was able to get some Hops from this guy last year. They were well packed, arrived quickly, and I had a good first year harvest. He's one of the few sellers who will go the extra mile in sending them to Tasmania ;)
