I've heard and read Hops aren't too good for our 4 legged friends. Has anyone had any Actual experience with this. Got some hops beginning to grow in my yard and 2 dogs. Cheers

Just tasted my first ag, a porter based on one of my extract recipes. Looks like the malt extract just got retired. Reckon this cornie might not make the morning! Ag all the way

After completing my first AG I was left with about 3 litres which I pasturised then put into a sanitised 3ltr juice bottle. I figure I will be able to use this as a wort base for an extract brew at a later date. Thing is, I know I won't get around to it for a while so I threw it in the freezer...

Was bored today and have a 5 litre glass demijohn I bought at the LHBS and never used. I threw in a tin of coopers stout and some leftover willamete I had left over and topped it up with water to 5ltr. Pitched the kit yeast and it started bubbling through the airlock after about 20 min, might...

Seems the coopers stout/dark ale is a good toucan recipe according to other threads. So I have bought a couple of cans and will have a crack. Lots of different recipe ideas around, boil, no boil, hops additions etc...... Which one has worked best? Want to put this down on the weekend, advice...
