I have ordered a 5l kit from beerkat. And am ordering a Perlick 650ss and stainless disconnects from the bulk buy. Do i need an adapter for the perlick?

Double ball lock heads are the same price from beerkat, you can pick either with their combo. Just confirmed that with them via email. So it's still a bit cheaper. + free shipping +keg cover

NullnVoid, Keep in mind, you mentioned "Girlfriend" not wife. Which means you still have a chance to get out early if she has a problem with your brewing. This is not a hobby that will ever get cheaper for you :)

Just on the topic above, i thought starsan diluted or something as it sat for a while and it was recommended not to premix it and store. Otherwise i really like that idea of making a 10l!
