I purchased a stainless steel probe for my fridgemate temperature controller. It came with a small plug on wire end (the original probe had lose wires). Can I cut the plug off and hook lose wires to fridgemate? Also, can I use this probe to monitor mash/sparge temperatures? thanks arthur

This is a modified aluminium keg 420mm high 390 diameter with a 20mm hole 90mm from bottom. Its a bit wobbly on a flat surface but very stable on my 4 ring burner. $45 ono. I also have a 30lt pot for sale here and a 50lt S/S keg-kettle.
