D'oh i meant wheat malt extract :ph34r: why would you ditch the BE2 ive found it works quite well in improving the brew. My local mitre10 has a range of wyeast and (i think) brewcraft yeast i'll check it out. Also why would you wait a few days to add the honey doesnt it take longer to break...

Interesting recipe considering there is a wit bier tin that coopers makes. I think i might go the easy way and use that.

Coopers brew enhancer is a great place to start for simple improvement of your brew. :)

Yup near boiling and using rainwater phew im happy with that malben bitter is a very bitter beer by my palate anyway. :) Thanks for that suggestion geez using hops is like going back to when i first started brewing ffs. :D

Don't use the sodium metasulphite (sp?) usually provided or they tell you to buy when your sanitising. I usually use this stuff called pink stain fairly expensive but lasts you ages if you don't go overboard with the stuff (it can ruin the carbonation of the brew learnt from experience :( ) on...

Why in f*ck name would you want to chase that stuff its crap. Had a couple of tinnies of coopers lager at BDO that wasn't bad. Its similar but even more crappy. The clear isn't too bad and i love the 62 its a dumbed down pilsener however is very tasty and decent session drop. I don't give...

boags draught not too bad at all for a mass produced beer but then again boags has always being quality and for the time being lion nathan haven't f*cked with the recipe i was scared of that because a beer i adore is boags premium and i would be v.sad if the japs messed with that.
