    KegLand Questions and Answers

A while ago there was talk of you guys getting corny keg liners in to do cask ale style beers. Any progress on that?

    DIY Nitrogen refills

Ah ok, beer gas might be the go then. I wouldn't need much for a portable N2 Sodastream, basically just enough to push a corny at most while I'm out camping. From what I can tell, they fill the Sodastream cylinders with 100g, which should push about 79 liters. I noticed these regs, which would...

    DIY Nitrogen refills

Does anyone have a nitrogen fill setup? I was thinking of getting a nitro coffee/stout setup, and while I like the Size C bottles, I wouldn't be able to use them on the go. Unfortunately Kegland/Keg King don't do the sodastream refills anymore, so I was wondering if anyone has done it...

    Drilling drain hole in freezer.

I've got an old Malleys tucker box deep freeze that I've been using as a makeshift keezer. It doesn't have a drain hole, and can be a PITA if I get spills in it. I was thinking of drilling a hole in the floor at one of the corners and installing a drain pipe. Maybe a short length of copper tube...

WTB corny kegs - NE Melb

Try triplejhomebrew on ebay. I picked up some pin lock kegs there for $30 each, bought some ball disconnects (get them from them so the threads match, the keg king ones don't fit) and o rings. They sell the disconnects for $10 each. Pretty old, but they seem to be working fine.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Thanks for your help. Is there ever a reason to ferment at different pressures? If not I think I'll just get the check valves to save a bit of dosh.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Yeah ok. How much do check valves normally reduce pressure? Maybe I should just get another spunding valve...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I was wondering, could you use one spunding valve for two fermenters? I guess you might have to use check valves to prevent cross contamination of yeast strains.

Are you referring to me? I'm just getting back into HB, as I'm sure there are a lot of others with spare time on their hands after COVID hit.

What? Now I'm completely lost. What does a for sale thread have to do with KK/KL?

    Pimp My TapKing

I've never used an oxy, but I was planning on getting a propane/map torch for a few other things. Will they get hot enough? Is this the right stick...
