    hi all I am going to try to make a barley wine soon.And want to force carb it in a keg before counter pressure bottle filling it, i also want to store it for an extended time. Do i chill the keg first and store it cold or carb it at room temp and cellar it as nomal. Any info would be great...

    thanks for the help. i think i will go with the caraaroma and some jw crystal malt, also will carafa special 1 do instead of roasted barley as it is within the right srm range. ( it calls for roasted barley 300srm in the recipe). thanks alan

    hi all made my first saison on saturday using jamils recipe. i am slowly raising the temp up to 27c. once at 27c and when it reaches fg how long to i leave sit at that temp.? and how long to condition before kegging. thanks :D

    Frozen Wyeast Activator Pouch

    i bought some wyeast 3522 on saturday and put in the fridge when i got home. i took it out this morning to make a starter and it was nearly frozen solid. will it be ok when it warms up or am i better to bite the bullet and just buy some more? any suggestions would be great thanks

    by the look of the diagram terminal 1 is where you place your hard active(on all the time) an terminals 2 and 4 are your switching contacts normally open or closed depending on what you want to do.
