Is maltodextrin similar to light dry malt?.. So many different names... Lol

The kit says 500g of ldm and 300g dex

Was just concerned about malt additions .. Or lack of them. So you think 500g of maltodextrin and dextrose each will be good?

i havent got splitters yet...am i able to carbonate one and leave the other for a while to age?..and if i do should i carbonate the one im going to leave or can i leave it in the keg uncarbonated. Will it go off if i dont carb?

I had a similar problem a while back. I put my bottles in my beer fridge with my heating pad in there (fridge turned off obviously), and a week later they were good to go.

i bought an old fridge for $20 bucks, put my pad heater on the bottom and beers around and above it for a week to 10 days, then in milk crate in garage for another week-10 days, then into em..works for me and im in Tassie. :beerbang:

oh oh!, ive run out of drops to prime with and i only have brown sugar in the cupboard..anyone know if brown is ok to use??..help.

Just bought a can of this as well, i have a Coopers brew enhancer2 (1kg) lying around so may as well use this. will post some tasting notes in few weeks.
