As per title. Custom built stir plate with the magnets oriented the correct way so it will never throw the bar. Variable speed controller. 5 L conical flask. $25 for the lot. Location is Rivervale, WA.
I'm looking to offload about 12 or so full hop crowns of various varieties:
Flinders
Golden Cluster
Hersbrucker
Cascade
Vic Secret
Chinook
They're all free, with one catch - you have to come and dig them up yourself. Located in Rivervale.
Just to post some prices that I offered Meddo:
- Pumps are $100 each, or $180 for both.
- Speed controller PCB, bunch of components and Meanwell PSU (24 V, 4.5 A) is $30 if you take both pumps.
A bunch of assorted brew hardware.
2 x Topsflo TD5 24 V pumps. These were custom built for me with a 0-5 V speed control line broken out. Note, they will not run without the 0-5 V signal supplied.
Power supply and speed controller PCB for the above. Not assembled or tested. Would suit someone...
I'm performing some necromancy and resurrecting this thread, because The Good Guys have a great sale on this freezer:

Add the code "CLICK20" at checkout, and it brings it down to $316. Pretty decent price.
Not a huge amount. Just easier to control, safer (I don't have to worry about 240V and liquids) and I can legally wire it up to whatever I want without any problems.
Interesting. I agree. For me I'm still interested in the low voltage DC and added speed control (I'm trying to automate sparge flow rates and whatnot), but the Kaixin pump with a stainless head looks the goods.
