IMO Lose the airlock and lid by using cling wrap. Lose the tap - bacteria funpark. After fermentation syphon to a bottling bucket with sanitized tap and bulk prime.

Bulk priming is definately the way to go and plenty of info here on it but don't get caught up in the "complexity" of it 'cos it is not that hard to do, especially if you have a spare fermentor/bottling bucket. I found it daunting when I first researched the idea, but in a nutshell....it is dead...

My local has it both on tap and in stubbies. Personally I believe it tastes better on tap, probably due to being in the glass and the whole aroma thing. Either or it is a bloody beautiful drop IMO.

Agree to the airlock thing but just like to add - take daily hydrometre readings and when you have 2 consecutive days @ the same reading she is ready to bottle. That is without going into anything overly tech and confusing.
