    my score yesterday

Probably would have something to do with a loss of gas, yes! You wont be able to re-use those clips. Rip them off. Cut the line and re-attach with new clips.

    Zierholz Premium Brewery ACT

Good traditional German beer and food. The Pork Knuckles or mixed platter is to die for. Definately family friendly. A bit out of the way but at least you don't need to re-mortgage your house for a few beers and a feed as you would at the other establishments in the city.

    Grumpy's Boston Cream

Me also. Their Boston Cream was the first one I did and I can still remember the taste explosion compared to the kits I was making. Was a great institution.

    No Topic Thread

Why is there only a handful of members online at once these days? There used to be 50-100 at once. Admittedly I rarely visit AHB anymore. Have they migrated to another site or just got bored with it as I did?

    How to fix overcarbed beer?

Bring the keg out of the fridge. Pull the pressure relief valve and turn it 90 degrees so it stays open. Bring the beer back up to room temp over night so it goes flat. Next day chill it down again and start again.

    Salami 101

Oops! A customer of mine brought in some of her salami that she was very proud of. It was wrapped in gladwrap and stored in work our fridge for a while until I saw white mold spots so I threw it in the bin! She was very distraught. It was probably magnificent!

    Some kegging questions....

I chill the beer down over night. Crank up the regulator to 300 kpa and attach the gas disconnect to the gas post. Lay the keg on its side with the gas post at the bottom. Rock for 30 secs, turn off the gas at the bottle and rock for another 25-30 or until the dial is approx 100 kpa. Put the keg...
