    Ball lock dip tube o'rings

Nice, thanks! I thought the originals were cylinder shape, seems like they were a tougher silicone too 👍

    Ball lock dip tube o'rings

Ball lock kegs. Had a bit of a look on American forums and found this, I might just get the measurements and buy round orange silicone ones from an o'ring shop. The ones I originally had were collar shape and silicone, that's what I'm after, the ebay ones I've been getting are collar shape but...

    Ball lock dip tube o'rings

I've been buying dip tube and gas tube o'rings from ebay for the last year or so and they're about 7 bux for 10 but they are useless. The washers that were originally on the kegs when I bought them second hand years ago were much harder (I think a few were red). They were firmer silicone, you...

    Super Rats!

Started brewing today and noticed some plastic flakes near a 25 litre cube I keep specialty grain in. Take a closer look and WTF a rat has gone through the base of the cube....on the cube next to it he's tried to eat through the handle . Have used these for 10 years and have never seen it.

    Freebies - Gold Coast

I've got an old 10kg or so gas bottle sitting there that someone gave me. Not sure how old or if it's OK but I know the guy used it...he gave it to me 6 months ago and I think he went off brewing a year before that so it was used not so long ago, not overly pretty but looks OK. Also have about...

I've also got a spare 6.8kg my keg on legs cylinder. It's in very good condition, I usually do the swap thing at CraftBrewer so it's one of those. Probably want 250 for that as well.

    Stainless Pot issue

Ok i might start by whacking 40 litres of water into it without the layer, bring it to the boil for a while and see what happens. ....

    Stainless Pot issue

I had wondered if there was some reason these pots have this outer thin layer and if it was a must....

    Stainless Pot issue

The outer bit is thin...I'd say 2mm stainless. ..the base of the pot is at least 1cm thick. Would prefer to save it...its 100 litres, paid 300 for it and that was a clearance price.

    Stainless Pot issue

I didn't mention that there is no sign of damage, leaking etc. The plate just looks like a cover really. Definitely was glued on, you can see the adhesive around the very outside. Thanks for the replies btw...

    Stainless Pot issue

Hi guys, Half way through a brew day and I hear a crinkling sound at the bottom of the pot/burner region, so much so that I decide to empty the wort back into the tun while investigating. Inspection reveals that the thin outer layer is coming off the base of the pot....no choice but to proceed...
