KK - 'Fermentasaurus' conical PET fermenter

It is time to show people how the lid on the 60 and 30 litre Fermenter Kings looks and works. For the Snubnose versions the centre tower is used to attach the internal thermowell. For the yeast collection version this retains the valve operation tube/Thermowell. In addition it’s a standard...

Let me see what we can do. Last time we had this issue I seem to recall it was a setting on the users phone that caused this but happy to follow up.

The report I released was not the final version and after the strange interchanges and moderator jumping in I decided to leave making it public here for the moments. Those who are interested to see it please just PM and I will be happy to send you a copy directly.

No Frills low cost pressure fermenting

    ## edited by moderator to remove quote of previously deleted post Our efforts remain focussed on providing high quality PET vessels that cannot be compared to stuff made by inferior processes. What we produce here in Australia is far better than anything currently being imported from China and...

If you like I can have you discuss it with the author of the report. He is currently engaged in putting ti together with a bit more to it. However what you say will be addressed once Monash Uni opens up again as we plan to have their Brewlab people do the next lot of testing with our assistance...

    PET Kegs and more

We thought people might be interested as we are making PET kegs available to the home Brew community soon. We kind of have already but next year once our second plant becomes operational they will be a viable alternative for folks to consider. For this we wanted to start finding out if people...

Not sure what we have done to deserve this sort of slur when what we are doing was conducted with some rigour in house and no claim was made that cannot be substantiated. One has to start somewhere does one not? Our next step will be to recruit a larger number of subjects and to involve a well...

    PET Kegs and more

Attached here is a report of a taste test used to compare how the same beer tastes when stored long term in PET and metal kegs. As an initial trial with some rigour we were quite pleased with how this turned out. Next we plan to extend this to other types of beer and also to the use of bags...

    GUTEN

All kind of depends on your batch size, ambient temps, whether or not you use an insulation jacket and mash thickness. You'll find a good spot where you can maintain the temp with the lid on recirculating and then adjust the power. Some brewers do the sacrification rest without recirculating...

Great way to clean out your fermenters, kegs and carboys. Check it out. The adjustable height arm is excellent for getting the cleaning solution into larger vessels.

Latest feature in P.E.T. Planet on the Keg King P.E.T. facility here in Springvale, VIC. Really great to be acknowledged for the work we're doing to bring the Fermenter King range of pressure fermentation vessels to the world. Cheers!

Sorry that was a typo. The 35 litre will do over 20Kg and our tests so far have it over 30Kg On the 60. Yes the hole for an older FS need to be enlarged by a few millimeters which yourself easily do with a Dremel.

Would suggest 2-6 months depending on type and temperature. Storage in bags is usually ok for at least six months but then rodents will get to it if they are around. Insects are also a potential problem as its a great food source for them. Personally I think they make a great addition to a...

Too many factors to say much about that but it will be better than most of other ways to store.

The 35 litre fits over 29Kg and the 60 litre fits over 30 kg so a 25 Kg sack fits easily. There is an environmental reason behind this. We did not want to put seconds into landfill and also when people decide to pension them off they can just re purpose them rather than throw them out.

During these times of the Lockdown a little something to cheer brewers. Drew who runs a malting business all by himself up Ballarat way got in touch and had us take a gander at his product. Now running a malt facility by yourself is no joke and requires some solid passion and commitment. We were...
